The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is a UN agency that works to set global environmental policies, promote sustainable development and strengthen international cooperation on environmental issues. Its priority areas of work include climate change, conservation of biodiversity, sustainable use of natural resources and reduction of environmental pollution.
